American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her first role was an supporting character in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. She also played the role of a supporting character on FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara in the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voiced a variety of characters from the animated series Family Guy. Since 2019she has been appearing as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 when her mother and her relocated to California [1The couple lived there for a year , before moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge became attracted to acting, photography and singing when she was 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue her acting career.
